Our Story
Guardian Saints is a not for profit community interest company. Founded in 2014 by two parents and a foster carer all with successful careers in cyber security, data protection and compliance within the corporate sector. United by a deep concern about the dangers presented by our increasingly connected online world, they came together with a mission to use their skills to support organisations in order to protect looked after children from hidden harm through unmanaged access to the internet.
Guardian Saints keep watch over the ever changing landscape of threats to children’s safety and privacy online and we make sure the organisations we work with are aware and equipped to protect against them. We provide a range of solutions for fostering service providers and foster carers around online safety and data protection, including:
● Cyber Essentials and IASME certification
● cyber security consultancy
● data protection consultancy
● ongoing support, advice and guidance
● data protection policy development and implementation
● online safety awareness and practical skills training
● discounts on digital security products
With so much to do to keep children safe in the real world, Guardian Saints offer foster carers and fostering service providers peace of mind that, together, we are doing all we can to ensure the children in their care are kept safe in the online world too
Our Customers Feedback
We applied for Cyber Essentials and IASME certification to ensure we have systems and processes in place to prevent us against cyber threats and to ensure that we are GDPR compliant. The process of assessment was thorough and it made us more aware of our responsibilities in this area.
The best decision we made in this regard was to engage the Guardian Saints team who in view are experts in this area.

Guardian Saints provided an excellent service for us at St George’s Hospital Charity. They have demonstrated comprehensive and expert knowledge of GDPR Regulations 2016 and the DPA 2018.
We were very impressed with their approach, their professionalism, and their willingness to deliver the maximum value with our (small) budget for this piece of work.
Amerjit Chohan, CEO, St George’s Hospital Charity
Guardian Saints input has provided us with confidence when dealing with breaches, both our own and those of third parties.
From that strong foundation we have been able to tackle Data Breaches by local authorities and attain very successful outcomes on behalf of our aggrieved families.
Quick to respond, accurate and always going the extra mile to ensure compliance and understanding I cannot recommend Guardian Saints DPO service highly enough.

Guardian Saints Online Safety training is a must for all Foster Carers and parents alike. The trainers really know their stuff and can help people at whatever level of knowledge they have to learn about the benefits and risks that the internet poses to children and young people. In my view, the training has had a beneficial effect for all of the children in our fostering families, in that it has educated and equipped our Foster Carers to feel confident in encouraging what is part of their everyday lives, but to help them to do it safely.
Eleanor, Director - Eastern Fostering Services
I was surprised that training on data protection could be delivered in way that was interesting and engaging. It's an easy topic to poke fun at - Guardian Saints did a great job at overcoming preconceptions of 'this is going to be boring' and I came away feeling the session was very worthwhile - and relevant to my role. I was impressed!
